Delete it in the app

In ARK, open Settings and choose Delete account, then confirm. This also works if your account is suspended or banned.

Ask by email

You don’t need to install ARK or sign in. Email Support from the address on your ARK account, with the subject “ARK Account Deletion Request”, and include your username if you know it.

support@arknextstudios.com

To confirm the account is yours, we’ll send a one-time code to the email address on the account. Send it back to go ahead. If you don’t, nothing is deleted. Never send your password or a sign-in code.

What happens next

  • Your account is deactivated straight away. You’re signed out everywhere, and other people can no longer message or invite you.
  • For 30 days you can sign in and choose Restore account to keep the same account. Restoring doesn’t end a ban or suspension.
  • After 30 days the deletion is final and can’t be undone. If you sign up again later, you’ll start a new, empty account.
  • When the deletion becomes final, your messages, photos, videos, posts and other stored files become due for permanent removal. Our automatic cleanup runs every hour, so this usually happens within a few hours, and a failed removal is tried again.

If you subscribe to Premium through Google Play, cancel it in Google Play. Deleting your account doesn’t cancel it.

What’s removed

  • Your username, display name, email, bio, profile picture and cover, date of birth, country, language, privacy settings and activity statistics.
  • Your Gold and Diamond balances.
  • Your followers and following, block list, invitations and requests, profile views, watch history and saved likes.
  • Your own Inbox, and the notifications you received or sent.
  • Your Room and Club memberships. A Club you own passes to its longest-standing member.
  • Your direct, Club and Room messages with their media and reactions, and your posts with their images. They’re hidden and removed when the deletion becomes final.
  • Your Google sign-in for ARK.

What’s kept

  • Purchase, gift, reward and wallet-security records, for accounting and fraud prevention.
  • Reports you made or that others made about you, and moderation decisions.
  • Rooms you created and game results, shown as “Deleted Account”.
  • Chats you were in stay with the other people, shown as “User account deleted”. Their own messages stay.
  • Anything that’s part of an open report, a safety investigation or a legal hold, until that’s resolved.
  • If your account is banned when the deletion becomes final, a coded form of your sign-in email and the ban’s end date, so the same address can’t sign up again before the ban ends.

These records are linked to an anonymous account number, not your name or profile. Removed information can remain in backups for a limited time. See the Data Use & Retention notice in the Legal Center for details.
